Five Photos / Five Days – Old and Older

York architecture

The city of York in England is one of our favourites to visit. It’s so full of history and the architecture styles span many centuries as you can see here. There are churches hidden down lanes and there is a market in a courtyard that you can only get through by another alley between some buildings. The Minster dominates the skyline and you can walk around most of the walls of the city for a good view.

I’ve taken up the Five Photos/Five Days Black and White Challenge and one of the “rules” is to nominate someone to take up the challenge as well. I don’t want anyone to feel obligated and since I’ve nominated two already, that’s it on that account. Feel free to take up the challenge if you like!
